NETIZENS were left bemused by a fumbling Senior Minister (Economy) Azmin Ali yet again today, after an official media release under his name from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry was seen to contain several kindergarten mistakes.
In the release, Azmin was stated to be holding a one-day official visit to Kedah “Darul Makmur” tomorrow (May 28). The official state address for the Northern state is Kedah Darul Aman. Darul Makmur is instead tied to Pahang.
Azmin goes on to state that his visit will also be marked by a courtesy call to the “Menteri Kedah” YAB Muhammad Sanusi Mohd Nor, referring to the newly appointed Menteri Besar of Kedah.
The meeting is said to be held at the Wisma “Darul Iman” at 2pm.
The Kedah state government’s administrative complex is at the Wisma Darul Aman, while the Wisma Darul Iman is occupied by the Terengganu state government at its location in Kuala Terengganu.
The release was making its rounds on social media today, as Azmin assumed the helm of the government following Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s 14-day quarantine after one of his aides attending a post-Cabinet meeting last week tested positive for Covid 19, or so the official line reads.
It is yet unknown whether Azmin would require the aid of Google Maps or Waze to arrive at his planned destinations.
Under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), inter-state travel is forbidden, unless for valid reasons.
